What Happened to Canada?

What Happened to Canada?

Game one - Three tries to two, Samoa wins, 19-12.

Game Two - Come from behind  (0-19), with a brace from Braid, Canada d. U.S.A., 22-19.

Game Three - Must win to stay in Cup play.  Unforced errors and errant pass then missed tackle after good turnover ball, allow Kenya a second try at the half after Moonlight had equalised.  First half flow was missing and mistake riddled would have been disappointing for boys.  Ne'er-the-less, they came out with gusto, maintained possession and went ahead 17-12 with one minute left, based on good stuff from Douglas, Mack and Duke.  Kenya replied with no time left and missed the convert to avenge last week's loss, so on to Bowl play for the boys in Red.

Good luck tomorrow, Canada!

Lots of CW Mini players sighted playng for their school's teams at yesterday's 42ND Annual Greater Victoria Elementary Schools Mini Rugby Jamboree.  Keep up the good work kids, the standard of play was high. We'll see you at Windsor in September.  Bring your school team mates to CW Mini Rugby.
