Last week it was NOT a day for precision handling and unfortunately, the weather on the cards at this stage bodes more of the same this Saturday for a trifecta of matches at the House of Windsor, and one on the road, at Westshore.
Action starts at 11:30 at Windsor when the women's Divvies play Nanaimo at 11:15 a.m. The men's Divvies will test themselves and their new-found confidence against the comp's second place team, Nanaimo Hornets. Nanaimo are 3 - 1 and CW sit at 2 - 2. This one starts at12:45 p.m. The main game will see the return of Jacob Bossi and his Capilano mates, fresh from a convincing win last weekend over a strong Burnaby Lake crew. Caps, off to a much better start this year, are even at 2 - 2, whilst the hosts sit at 0 - 3. Despite the weather there will be plenty of support as the club hosts its annual luncheon for sponsors and 20 Club members, welcoming a new Platinum sponsor, Straith's Fine Clothing. Our Premier women willbe at the 'shore to face always strong foes.
