ON THE PEDESTAL

Poster girl, Adia Pye, another pathway product from CW age grade, heads up a trio of CW players, Olivia Newsome and Charlotte Hilton who joined the CW Premier Women’s team last season, for the Pan-Am Games next month.

Today we congratulate several of our younger players who have achieved representative honors. The following girls and boys have been selected for the BC BEARS U19 rep team to compete at the National Championships held in Calgary this week. Michael Oughtred and David Michell were members of this year’s CW BC U18 Champs and are attending UVic. Sophie Hayes, Harper May are CW pathway players and Bella Anderston-Teasdale joined the Premier team this past season. We wish these players, and their BC team mates well as they pursue the prize. At the Boys U17 level, Kellen Mcallister has been named to the squad to represent in competition next month. At the Boys U15 level, Alex Winn, Tyce Chappel, Will Oughtred, and Marcus Bellows have earned selection. Late-breaking, add Mikaela Sims and Zoe King to the BC U15 Girls squad. 'onya, all!
