SATURDAY'S ARMIES ANNOUNCED

JOHNNY SHEPHERD AWARD WINNERS - Frankie & Mike

ROAD WARRIORS

CW Premier Women have not announced their starters but the squad incudes some solid ammunition!  The likes of Zodichi (Rookie of the Year), Chanelle Challenger, Hill-Huse, Belchos, Samek, King, Fry, Beck, Beauchemin, Reed and Brown, stand out for this pundit and will give Caps all they can handle.  Go, you beauties!

CW Men’s Premier MVP Award winner, Gavin Kratz, returns to action this week against the Thunderbirds.  This will be an intriguing contest with the teams having different areas of strength.  UBC’s backs, led by Jacob Bourne at #10 and capably assisted by a double barrel of threats in the centers – the McMullin sibs, along with speedy winger, Marshall, will give all that it will take from the visitors to handle – that is if they can get sufficient possession!  The pack is the CW area of strength, which will be fortified from the bench by Ayo, Fatt and Simpson.  Hopefully this combination can keep possession for UBC to a minimum!  CW’s backs will be missing super tackler, Sion Griffiths, and the feisty Mitchell.  However, should the selection keep a speedy defensive line, they may be able to keep their opponents in check.  Any missed tackles will bring a price methinks. So, it’s go you good things, and bring home the bacon.
