MLR KICKS OFF

The new season kicks off on March 2nd., minus New York and Toronto, plus Los Angeles and Miami.  Arguably, an overall "gain". The jury is out. CW has one player who will have our eyes and to whom we offer our best wishes.  The very talented, Grady Bowd suits up for Washington's Old Glory for another season.  The Glory finished well last season, getting into the semis.  All rugby fans will follow MLR with closer interest this season, given the aforementioned

ONE LESS WELSHMAN.
Rob Howley has flown the RC coop, back to his native Wales.  He has served his three-year penance away from the former Pricipality after being banished for wagering on Wales, (a double loser?) I give readers the BBC link to the story. Canada receives the mearest mention, that being in a 12 - 68 loss to Wales! Pretty classless commenting in my opinion to his employer for the past three years!  I guess it was always nothing more than a means to an end.

On that note, I "Wish You All A Merry Christmas"!
