Teams have been announced for tomorrow's contest at UVic.  CW has the pleasure of introducing Mason Pederson, a prop who has played a half-century of MLS matches.  With a Belmont Shores youth background and University of Arizona collegiate career, Mason was selected as a Junior All American and a Collegiate All American. In the MLR, Mason has played for LA, Austin and currently, Seattle Seawolves. Jace Peters also returns for the Tricolors and will ride the pines, along with the return of UVic grad, Gus Porter.

The Vikings will have some familiar faces, especially at #9, where Sion Griffiths earns a start.  The jury pre-game, is out on this choice, but Sion is certainly a talented athlete who we saw plenty of at Windsor Park.  CW's, Josh McIndoe returns from the NSMT of Europe where most unfortunately, he saw no playing minutes.  Morgan di Nardo, brother of former CW player, #9, Riley, did get some time and he is a threat on the wing.  Former CW's, Gareth Sandner will start at #15, and may still be shaking off some collegiate final gremlins.  Gareth is a talented player also, and we suspect that he will be prominent.  In all, a great afternoon of rugby at Gerwing Field, starting at 1:00 p.m.

The club's best wishes go with our U16 and U18 Boys to the BC Finals on Sunday.  This is the third year for the U18's and the U16's second. There will be experience in abundance however, mainland foes are always formidable.
