Future Olympians On Show

Today and Saturday a number of potential Olympians will take to the pitch at UVic for the Annual International Youth Sevens Tournament, featuring teams from; Ontario, Southern California, Washington State, Utah and England!

Action begins at Wallace Field @ 10:00 a.m. when Sth Cal takes on Sherbourne College in Under 18 play.  At 10:25 the Tide U16 Boys featuring five CW lads - Jonah Hall, Brayden Tate, Connor King, Brandon Shellinberger and Brennig Prevost play North Vancouver.  At 12:00, the South Island U14 team plays Delta.  Action continues until 6:00 p.m. on both days. 

Come out and support the players and watch some very good Sevens rugby, a game which is starting to becomne internationally synonymous with Canadian Rugby.  A doff of the Ruggernut's cap to Shane Thompson and Doug Tate, the brainstrust behind this one!  'onya, guys.
