Focus On Sevens
Canada's NSMT puts their "International Season" behind them and now switches their focus to the Sevens Circuit. Nine players who have been on the XV's squad will be fronting up at Dubai this coming weekend. Although it is difficult to think in one's mind about the switch in style of the two games, we like the way CW's Nanyak Dala puts it.
"The body has been holding up well as it is not much change from our ordinary schedule back in Victoria," said the 29-year-old Castaway Wanderers player.
"The hardest part is the mental aspect of being away for such a long time."
"As far as the game is concerned, I have been doing this for a few years now and it's a lot easier to switch mentally from Sevens to Fifteens. Knowing my roles as a player in either version makes the transition easier as I can focus and mentally prepare for what I need to do which transfers onto the field."

"I am definitely excited to be back on the series," added Dala ahead of the Dubai showpiece. "We achieved some things last season but have a lot more to achieve as a team (in the coming years). We are raring to have a go and put consistent performances on the field. It's good to be part of a hungry team." Go, Canada, go!
