CW senior men and women have a full slate of games tomorrow, commencing at 11:15.  Women’s Premier action kicks off agains the visiting Meralomas at 12:15 and the Premier Men play Burnaby at 2:30.

The women will test Lomas who are proving to be the real deal with their promotion, so far, undefeated.  CW will start a strong XV and will be bolstered by the bench, featuring the infusion of U-sport athletes, Chloe Hill-Huse, Marina Skakun, and Remee Brown.  In all, the roster will feature ten junior alum who are moving up the ladder, growing the game for sure, and a testimony to a “Pathway Philosophy”.  Keep an eye on winger, Emily Samek and prop Josie Anzai.  Others that will catch the eye of the fan are #10 Emily Currey, FRF Bronwyn Zodichi and a young newcomer at fill back, Merin O’Reagan.

The men will be tested by a Burnaby side that features members of the Fijian Sevens squad.  CW’s backs are a calm and collected, silently confident group led by Bowd.  If the forwards can hold the fort, as in today’s pic, bottling up the Lakers,  who knows what might happen?  After all, the game is rugby.  Go, you good things.
