Day #2 @ the World Games

The day opened with a solid win for Canada over Brazil by a scoreline of 26 to 7, with Hammond adding a singleton.  The boys then went up against the Argies, always a tough go in  South America - Rosario, Sao Paulo, Rio OR Cali!  Los Pumas 19, Canada 7 (3 tries to one).  So the boys were bound for the playoffs and battle for the bronze against Les Bleus. It was tied at the interval 14 - 14 and then 21 - 21 before the Maple Leafs scored a pair of late tallies for the win and the medal, 33 - 21.  CW's own, (at least by adoption), Mike Scholz was in for a brace.  It was great to see Scholzie was back in action at this one, hopefully, free and clear of all that has ailed him for some time.  As well, Adam Kleeberger was back in the fray, leading the boys.  Good job, Beardo!  Great for Canada to have Kleebs hitting his straps again!  So, third place behind South Africa and Argentina ain't bad Co.  Well done, all.
