CW's, Caroline Crossley, Shines On Day One
CW's Caroline Crossley burned the pitch on Day#1 at the Vegas Sevens. Caroline was representing the B.C. Girls U18 "schools" team. The team went 2 - 1 on day one. Caroline notched three tallies in the first two games then scored a brace in a tough 14 - 24 loss to Atlantis ( we are not sure of this origin), looking like the team to beat for the title. B.C.'s "Invitational VII" - the Banshees, featuring three CW players, lost all three of their matches. Reports are that the play is of a much higher level than last year. Why should that not surprise us with the Olympics just around the corner and U.S. propensity to resource such headline sports events? B.C. Boys U17 and U18 teams are in action today, with Jack Nyren being one of the stars to watch, in his final year of "juniors". Go, B.C., go!
LATE BREAKING.....Caroline bags another brace in 24 - 12 Girls win, to move to Final!!
