CW Appeal For Welsh Billets

Two touring teams from Monmouth School, Wales (visitors are U15, U16 and U17 boys) are visiting Victoria soon and we are still looking for billet homes. CW teams have been hosted by this school previously. The dates are July 17th (6:30 pm pickup downtown), July 18th (games at Windsor starting at 1:45 pm, Kickoffs at 2:30 and 4:15 pm vs Crimson Tide junior teams), July 19th is a day of leisure at Willows Beach for the tourists and July 20th they depart at 9:15 am sharp from Oak Bay High School.

We need more families to help, and ideally take two billets each. Please contact Don Swainson at [email protected] or 250-580-0344 if you can assist with this. Touring and hosting is an important part of the rugby culture as you know so we are hoping for a robust response from CW supporters. A number of CW families with players have already stepped up but there are 39 tourists, so we need at least 10 more folks who don't mind a little extra driving and feeding.
