A few words from Coach Spenny

The Boys U19 B.C. Final will be held at McDonald Park, this coming Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The opposition will be the Ravens club from Vancouver, who will also have their U16 side in the Final against JBAA as the curtain-raiser. The Ravens Senior Men's teams have also been experiencing considerable success of late, so one can well imagine they will have their backs up and be cock-o'-the-hoop to tag a double with the Island teams doing their best to prevent same. Both games should display a very high standard of rubgy so let's get plenty of CW fans, apart from parents, on the sidelines at 2:30. Go, you good things!

Lauren Sargent reminds all club members and interested friends that the club is going for it at a Royals game on Sunday 24th February. The club needs to sell 300 tickets which should NOT be a task too great if everyone gets behind it. Tickets are $20 per, proceeds going to the club along with 50/50 conducted that night at the game, a good fund-raiser. Lauren suggest this would be a great stocking stuffer.
