Madee Berry
Assistant Coach Senior Women
Madee, aka Coach Berry, started her coaching career in 2011 as an assistant coach for the Ladysmith High School team during her first stint in BC rugby. Upon her return to Saskatchewan, she took to coaching at her alma mater, Campbell Tartans from 2012-2016. As her coaching skills developed and matured, she took on the task of head coach for the Regina Condors Senior Men's 15s team in the summer of 2015, a role that was very rewarding and equally challenging.
With the completion of a Bachelor's of Science degree in the field of Geology, her coaching career would be on hold for a time whilst she explored the Canadian and American North lands. A career shift, mid-pandemic found her working from her home in Sidney, on Vancouver Island and the quest to influence the betterment of rugby began again. Helping to coach the local Parkland Secondary School Panthers began in spring 2022 while also playing on the CW Women's team in the premiership. Unfortunately, an untimely injury has seen this young legend hang up her boots. She was eager to stay involved in the club and happily accepted her current assistant coaching position in the fall of 2022.
