ISLAND MEN'S SUPREMACY - BARNARD CUP DECIDER

This coming Saturday sees Alumni Weekend.  This event will be highlighted when legends of the past take to the pitch for some touch rugby. The highlight of the day will be Premier matches between Westshore and CW Men's & Women's teams.  In particular, the men's competition will determine the VIRU Barnard Cup winner, bragging rights for top spot for the VIRU season.  Comparing the two teams points to Westhsore's results being closely corelated with who is available for selection, this applies in particular to the club's Kenyan Connection.  Westshore have the upper hand of sorts this season, going into the Christmas break with a heallthy 29 - 14 victory over CW at the 'Shore.  Both teams have very similar rankings in the BCRU League.  CW at 6 - 0 - 5, has a slight edge compared to Westshore's 5 - 1 - 5 record. Be on hand for this penultimate game prior to playoffs.
