Canada U20 Men’s Team

Today, CW wishes to offer our congratulations to a number of young men who have been selected to represent Canada in the upcoming (June 12 & 16) North American Qualifier against the U.S.A. in Houston.  We gave Schellie a shout-out on Monday after his play in the Trial game and today we add that Ben Newhook and Damon Adams also played in that match (pictured).  Both Ben and Brandon have been selected to the 26 man squad, along with CW age grade “grads”- Gavin Kratz and Brennig Prevost (both at UVic).  Our Musings blog this week mentioned the “pathway” and both Gavin and Brennig are further examples of this growth from Minis to National Selects with our club.  We include a couple of photos with these lads ‘coming through the ranks’.  The best of luck to all players selected and our support is with you as you seek to qualify and then better last year’s seventh place finish.  Go, Canada!
