Wednesday's Ruck & Maul on Thursday!

Our Deepest Feelings of Sadness and Support for the Tumbler Ridge Community.
COMING HOME
Today we bring news of some meetings that have already been held and others which are upcoming regarding the Oak & Palm Society’s drive to achieve a property that is in Oak Bay, close to the House of Windsor, and CW Rugby. Already, a group of financially committed folks have met and brainstormed a strategy that has the potential to bring the project to realization. Financial commitments having been made require a greater contribution to meet deadlines to make an offer on said property.
To that end, we announce the next meeting, that being for neighbours of the Currie Road property, to be held on Tuesday, 17th at 7:00 p.m. The remainder of the meetings scheduled are as follows.
Thursday, Feb., 19th. Coaches & Managers. 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb., 24th. Club Sponsors & 20 Club members. 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, Feb., 26th. Parents of Junior players. 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Mar., 3rd. Senior players. 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Mar., 5th. Club Alumni. 7:00 p.m.
All meetings will take place in the Penny Lane Room at the Penny Farthing Pub. Please come and join us for a libation, and some nibbles, at any of the meetings that you can make, or that which best applies, so that you can hear the business plan, and questions and suggestions of your peers, and the progress of the project.
We need YOUR interest, engagement and support, and enthusiastic endorsement if we are to reach the goal of a new home adjacent to Windsor Park.
HAPPY FAMILY DAY
This Saturday CW’s “Colts” travel to the mainland to play Bayside RFC. Bayside is an inspiration for CW rugby with our current intiiative. The Sharks demonstrated vision, patience, and hard work for a number of years as they brought their apsirations to fruition. They transitioned with an interim “home” as they creatively sought a solution to their goals for a club that had a signifivant history and pride.
