Vikes Visit Windsor

Unfortunately, the First Div game is on hold - either a "re-sched" or points forfeiture.....no news on this front, suspect player shortage on CW's part.  However the "Big Shoe" will go on with k.o. slated for 2:45.

UVic come into this, cock-o-the-hoop, sitting tied for first with their counterparts, UBC.  They had a solid tussle with the Rowers on the road last week but look fully loaded for tomorrow's encounter.  CW will welcome back Mac Bos, Jeff Nishima-Miller, Joe Erlic and Fergus Hall, former club juniors who are more than making their mark with Doug Tate's program.  The UVic tight five have remained a constant selection and no doubt will set the platform for running rugby from the students.

The Tricolors go into this one, led by Riley Ilnicki, wearing the "C".  The forward pack will be filled by some new names who earned the honor with their performances last Saturday with The Ones and it will be a good test for them to see how they match at this level. I suggest fans keep an eye on Kyle Horan in the lock position, a real workhorse who shirks from naught. Mac Pherson is fit to go and Panga returns to #10 with Turner getting a promo and former Vike, Keenan Horton moving into the custodial spot. Hopefully concentration will be full on this week and let the chips fall where they may.
