Things According To Hoyle, So Far In Glasgow

Canada's Sevens entourage opened up with a lop-sided loss to the Kiwis, 0 - 39 in Glasgow this morning.  Game #2 saw them take revenge on the hapless Barbadians, 68 - 5 and pictured here, the lads rest up for their final match against Scotland which is shaping up to be epic.  The Scots, obviously have melded their group well, as witnessed by them almost nutting the Kiwis, 14 - 17 in their game #1.  At publishing time, we don't have a score line for their match Vs Barbados.  CW would like to let the boys know that there may not be 50,000 Canuck fans in the stadium but there  ALL of Canada's rugby fans at home, pulling for them.

FOOTNOTE:
What's this?? Scotland's coach, Colin Gregor, post match, offered up this tidbit....."You could tell they (N.Z.) were worried about us.  They requested independent touch judges before the game, which they wouldn't have done in the past".......and we have been naive enough to think that all touch judges were "independent"!!
