Sale Schellshot!

Canadian Women continue to stay in the news in the UK club rugby scene. This week it was Julia Schell and Sophie de Goede. Sophie continues to be a “T(ry) – A – G(ame)” player, scoring another tally and setting one up with a skillful offload. Soph was again in the team-of-the-week All Star selection, this week in the #6 position. Former Premier player and current National Team squad member, Julia Schell, also scored a good try in the Ealing Pathfinders victory over Sale RFC.

Julia is a classic example of a goal achiever. She is not a sizeable player, and she has had to work hard to improve her skills and retain her place with the Nats, and further, earn this professional contract. Mostly, she has played at #10 but this week’s try came from the center’s slot. ‘onya, Julia, a great example for all female players in Canada.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
