Plaudits
Captain Canada, Tyler Ardron has been given the honor with his club, the Ospreys for today's European Championship contest. Reports speak highly of his play in recent weeks and this is quite the honor for the young, 23 year old. In typical fashion, Ardron humbly commented; “It’s a huge honour for me to captain the Ospreys, there have been some absolute legends have done the job before me. Filling in for Alun Wyn, who is such an inspirational captain, is a challenge, but one that I’m excited about and proud to be undertaking. Hopefully I can do a good job on Saturday and help the team to the kind of performance expected of us, so that we can finish Europe on a high and then, hopefully, leading the Ospreys is something I’ll be fortunate enough to experience again in the future.” Good luck today, Tyler.
Also to CW's Sophie De Goede, Shaye Tudor and Sofie Kennedy - off to Vegas with B.C. U18's Sevens. Sophie is making her third trip and is still only in Grade 10! Shaye and Sofie make their debut trip to Vegas. Shaye is a CW second year player and Grade 10 student whilst Sofie, in her fourth year of CW rugby has risen to this level. Quite an achievement for these girls and they travel with the club's best wishes for success.
