Pinnacle Achieved

The Club takes great joy in offering our congratulations today to Sophie De Goede.  Soph will earn her first National Senior Women's XV Cap against RWC Champs, N.Z. Silver Ferns when Canada plays N.Z. this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in California.  Sophie will join CW's Gabby Senft in the forward pack with Soph at lock and Gabby on the side of the scrum.  This is a monumental achievement for this young lady, who started the game at Windsor Park at age seven and has followed the pathway to the top whilst attaining top grades with her University studies.  It is no surprise, coming from such stock as Steph and Hans. Sophie may you have a 'cracker' today and best of luck to the team in what will be a  challenging contest.  Go, Canada!
