Last Minute Apeal - Volunteers Needed

As an annual event, members of the CW community are asked to volunteer to marshal the lighted truck parade route along Oak Bay Avenue. This is a good opportunity for the Club to give back to our host community and to gain profile with our neighbours. The job is straightforward and provides an excellent view of the parade. Those who are available will meet in front of the Penny Farthing at 5:30pm for a brief orientation and a reflective vest. Volunteers then monitor one of the Road Closed Signs along the Avenue from 6:00pm -7:00pm and help direct traffic around the truck parade. You will be done by ~7:00pm. Please contact Jon Donald if you’re available. It would seem that a conflict with U19 BC Final has left a void on this one.  Anyone available for all walks of the club would be a ppreciated.
