International Rugby

Many years ago it was regular practise for Clubs to tour.  It has become a rarity due to prohibitive costs, work and personal schedules. CW will be hosting a touring side from Wales, upcoming.  Details are below and The Chaplain is the contact "GO-TO".....'onya, Matty.

Tuesday, May 20^th, 6 PM Kickoff - Castaway Wanderers RFC vs Bedlinog RFC, Wales @ Windsor Park.

Social:    8pm,  CW Clubhouse, 714 Discovery Street, Victoria, BC

Bedlinog RFC, a Welsh side on a North American Tour, has specifically targetted CWRFC as a priority destination given our deep connection to Wales. Few players are as idolized in Wales as much as our very own Gareth Rees, former Team Canada Captain. Bedlinog RFC can hardly contain their excitement about the prospect of playing on Gareth’s home pitch and Castaway Wanderers are proud to host this Welsh side and ensure their tour is a special one. Please join us in support at the pitch for a great game of rugby and a special opportunity to celebrate the connection between our two countries through the best sport on earth!
