Hearn, Human Wrecking Ball As CW Hits Trifector

Saturday 1ST March was a good day for the Tricolor.  The ones managed a bonus point win over current semi-finalists, Rowing Club, when they added a last minute try.  Rowers earned a bonus point in a well played First Div matchup. In the main game, CW let loose with an eight try barrage, headed by Hearn's four but Ciaran would be the first to admit they came as a result of good front foot possession and snappy service from young MacPherson.  The final win for the day was a very successful Fun(d)raising Dinner at Uplands Golf Club.  The highlight of the evening was the honoring of Matt and Wendy MacNeill's long term sponsorship with the club.  The added quirk was a visit from Rick Mercer, wishing the club a successful evening.  This followed up a humorous and interesting one-two duo from two of the RWC Canadian Beardos, Kleeberger and Buydens.  A great evening with war stories shared and a good laugh or two to boot.  Thanks to all the volunteers and donors.  Your efforts are much appreciated and will help keep the club on a successful footing.  Go, CW!  (Game details to follow.)
