Last weekend the Vancouver Sevens was preceded by Sevens competition for U15, U16 and U18 boys and girls on Thursday & Friday. Thirty teams from as far afield as Edmonton, Washington and Nova Scotia participated! South Island – VI Tide came away with quite the haul of medals and an amazing 18 -2 win/loss record. This outcome earned two Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medal. This was only one part of the tournament.  Meeting players from many places, meeting International Men & Women and being part of a BIG show were all accrued benefits. 

From these matches the BCRU Bears program will be selecting Provincial teams for summer action and we should see a healthy smattering of CW players. Go, you good things.
