CW's Fall Cause

Castaway Wanderer's Community Events Coordinator, Lucy Barwin is very pleased to announce the Club's volunteer initiative for the Fall.  Each year CW supports a unique cause.  This season, it is blood donorship.  There have been members of the rugby community requiring blood transfusions and this is our way to rally round them and show our support.  Two recipients, both grads of CW's Mini Rugby School, Cole Braid and Sean Thornber, have expereienced major health challenges.  Cole's brother, Connor, a professional rugby player and member of the JBAA club and Canada's NSMT program is supporting this drive, along with some team mates from Rugby Canada's squad.  CW hopes that ALL players, friends and family will give blood between September 3rd and 13th.  Stay tuned for more news about this initiative.

P.S.  Donors must be 17+ years of age and it is true, the man for many causes, Adam       ( "THE Beardo) Kleeberger is on board with this one too!  'onya, Kleebs!
