A Feast of 'Footie'

Saturday brings a feast of rugby to CW fans,  At 1:00 p.m. at The Park, The Ones k.o. Vs high-flying Caps I's.  At best, Ceedub can play a spoiler role as the chances of a final four berth are almost mathematically off the cards.  Prems should be a beaut as two fairly equal squads match up in a battle for playoff positions.  Caps will be seeking vengence after a Round#1 loss to CW at home, possibly the biggest of a very few, pre-Christmas bright spots.  Stay tuned for more pre-game comments.

Saturday night when you all are at home we urge you to take in Canada's game #1 Vs Portugal at the Tokyo Sevens.  The match can be viewed at www.irbsevens.com  live, starting at 7:50 p.m.(local time). In case you have forgotten just what the ability of our guys is, re-wind this win over Wales.

Interestingly enough, it will be Wales who Canada will take on in their second match at 11:08 p.m. (local time).  Day One finishes with match Vs N.Z.  The Sevens Circuit is extremely exciting.  On any given day/match/moment a favourite can be in jeopardy.  Canada leads the likes of France, Wales, Scotland, Portugal and U.S.A. in overall points at this stage and the boys will be busting a gut to keep it that way.  Go, Canada, go!
