CW offers kudos to Chris Assmus who has just been appointed to two full Internationals; Uruguay Vs Spain and U.S.A. Vs N.Z. Maori, both games taking place next month.  This is a real coup for the young 24 year old B.C. ref.  Chris refereed in England and Wales in the early spring and then officiated at the World University Sevens in Russia. He then headed to the IRB's Talent Optimization Program in South Africa where he had the chance to interact with coaches, strength and conditioning experts and fellow refs at the Western Province Academy.  Chris serves as an excellent example of what can be achieved by setting goals and working hard.   He will be on the sidelines in an assistant capacity at the ARC's in Langford.  If you see him, give him the thumbs up on his achievements.
