Robbie 'The Ice Man' Povie led the Nats with eleven points in their victory over Brazil, 31 - 14, mid-week. Former CW Junior and Saskatchewan lad, Matt Klimchuk had good minutes starting at #6 and Jo Jo 'Mercury' Morrah notched a tally.  Good contribution from former Tricolours.  Where the heck was Grady Bowd? His ghost-like disappearance from names is a mystery to fans back home.  A number of players in this game have returned to their clubs for Premier play in the BC League this weekend.

                                                      Klimchuk shows determination.

This segues into CW's cross-the-pond journey to face Lomas tomorrow. The Tricolours are still facing adversity and have had to forfeit their 3RD Div. match slated for Windsor, against Scribes RFC. Two teams and extras have been mustered for the journey to Connaught and in fact, the Premiers look somewhat less fragile than last weekend, with Finnemore and Pyke both healthy and joining Nick Carson in a formidable loosie combo.  Jordan Tait returns to #10 and Ollie Nott slots into the centres after injury.  Sudsy is also returning from injury and he will pair with Nott to provide stiffer defence in the centres. It will be with interest that we follow just what this group can achieve.  Go, you good things!

Last weekend, Karen Paquin put in a full shift of eigthy minutes against the U.S.  'Paquers' will be on deck again when Sophie leads the ladies against those same opponents at 8:15 p.m. tomorrow in the RWC Quaterfinals. CW screams out its support from afar.  Go, you beauties!
