A Decade of CW Web Presence

The first four years of our website were the result of the efforts and time of former Wanderer and National team player, Charlie (“Duck”) MacLachlan and hosted by his Frontrow Software Co. Duck earned his first cap against Los Pumas, back in 1983. As a hooker, one of his most notable opponents was Englishman, Peter Wheeler. This website was Duck’s legacy to his club. Thanks, Duck.

We then made a massive change and update, moving to Squareflo.com as our new host. Squareflo was the suggestion of club player, Joe Van Heerden. We have had a most copacetic relationship with Squareflo, receiving immediate help when necessary and suggestions for updates.

We are not always perfect but seek to bring different angles and a CW perspective to rugby matters locally and globally. Thanks to our readers; continue to “like” our blogs and hoist one to celebrate our successes!

Saturday – On or Off??

We do know at this stage that the women will not be playing UBC due to the students’ Reading Break. As for the men…….it’s still in limbo.
