Kenny Goodland

Kenny’s first visit to Victoria was to play for the very first edition of the Pacific Pride rugby team. After his graduation from the program Kenny returned to the Rock to continue both his rugby and drinking. The skill that he demonstrated in those early years was not lost on the Castaway Wanderers and they spent many years trying to get Kenny to return for the home side. The lure of the West Coast was strong and Kenny returned to play for CW and help bring home two Provincial championships. Kenny has developed into a solid leader on the team and has captained many of the recent sides. Kenny has played for the Canadian Sevens side and has toiled for many seasons for the “Rock” in the Canadian super league.

Tall and skinny, Kenny relies on speed and athleticism rather then strength and fitness to be successful on the rugby field. Some have said that Kenny’s legs resemble those of a baby moose, which is uncommon for a rugby player. Kenny is one of the many enthusiastic dart players in the club which is unfortunate for him as he is not very good at it. In fact, he has turned his love of darts and gambling into a need for a second job. Remember that if you see Kenny after dark he will be going by his alias Lenny Badland. Good luck Kenny/Lenny and keep buying those pints, your dart game has to improve soon.
