Iain is a rugby player from a long ago era, an era where cooking with fire was unheard of, the only tools available were made of stone and one was lucky to have an animal skin loin cloth for clothing. We’re not saying that all front row don’t have some neanderthal traits but this kid is the complete caveman package; brute strength, wild appearance, extremely aggressive, crude body art and limited linguistic skills. Iain had a career year last year, club MVP and he won his first cap for Canada. With his dominating play there should be many more caps in the future and he will not be a one hit wonder like Andrew Mooney (2003/04 MVP, 2004/05 MIA).

A solid scrummager, powerful ball carrier and ferocious tackler Iain was full value and much deserving of the MVP award. Iain also appears to be an old school professional wrestling enthusiast as his post push over try “Bushwhacker March” can attest to. Some refer to Iain as Xman, but the only mutant ability he demonstrates on a regular basis is the ability to socialize with Lunkhead and not become nauseous.
