Derek’s career has gone into overdrive this past year as this Pacific Pride alumni has represented Canada at both the seven’s and the senior men’s level. He had some strong showings in this year’s Churchill cup and supplied us with a taste of what’s to come. Derek will be juggling duties with both the CW premier league and Canada seven’s teams this fall. Any time he plays for the home squad he will certainly leave his mark - hopefully in the form of a bruise on his opposite number. Last year Derek played both full back and stand off and was electric at both. When Derek is not spinning heads on the field, he can be found spinning records as he is an accomplished DJ.
