Matt Cohen

 

Known as “Frodo” for his smallish stature and Middle Earth good looks, Matt has decided to come and play for the Castaway Wanderers this season. Matt, like many CW players before him, played for U VIC and even won a Provincial Championship there in 2002/2003. A very hard and elusive runner of the ball, Matt will be a tremendous addition to the CW backfield.
Expect to see Matt playing in the centers this season where he will showcase his incredible talent. His side step is awesome and his defence is tenacious, both of which give the opposition fits. Matt, like many CW players, will be splitting his time with the BC Premier League and the Canadian Sevens team. Our loss will be Canada’s gain. Frodo’s next quest will be for a second Premier League Championship, and in this we all wish him well.
