CW U16's took to the pitch for the sixth time in the past two seasons against hosts, Cowichan RFC, this past Sunday. The match was the Final of the VIRU League, with teams competing for the Ed Bryan's Cup. To this point, we have had only one success against 'The Piggies' out of the previous five matches and that was earlier on this season.

CW led at the half with two converted tries.  This margin was almost not sufficient, as the hosts came back in the second half with two tries.  Unfortunately, for Cowichan, only one was converted and the visitors squeaked out a close victory.  CW congratulates Cowichan on a hard fought game. For CW, we now go on to play Meralomas in the BCRU Final, this coming Sunday at Cowichan, kick-off time is 12:45 p.m.  The boys hope that a number of followers will make the trek over the Hat to support them.
