Ro 'Bud' Hindson Added To Hall Of Fame

CW is very happy to announce that Ro Hindson, of the former unamalgamated Castaway RFC was inducted to the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame last week.  Hindson who played his rugby with UVic, UBC, UBCOB and a lengthy stint with Castaways, still has a strong affinity with CW RFC.

His blond flowing mane will be fondly remembered by many Victoria and Canada rugby fans during his 31 International Caps.  Bud played in the era of 1973 - 1990.  One could wax lyrical about his many achievements but he is and was a humble man, preferring to spin a yarn and have a quite ale with his multitude of former team mates and friends.  He was a multi-talented rugby player, sprinting ahead of the espoused "fastest", deftly passing off or booming a huge conversion from the sideline.  You were a beauty, Swinson...'onya, an honor well deserved!
