Hubie (Une Beardo) Takes The Reins

CW, Home Away From Home for Hubert Buydens, is proud to offer congratulations to him on the announcement of his appointment as Captain Canada against Protugal tomorrow. Hubert still calls the Wild Oats his Home club, even tho he hangs his hat at Windsor whenever he is not on the road or in Manawatu! 

Hubert joins a long line of CW Canadian Captains, names such as Tiedeman, Monro, Rees, Graf, Howe, Docherty, all deserved players, to earn the honor. Tomorrow will be the end of a series of Internationals for the men, a series the likes of which has not occured before.  Their record sits as 5 - 5 so far this year and a win would help slow down a slippery slope of a ranking slide. Canada will not have the services of a number of its "professionals" tomorrow, however that being said, it is a strong combination and we believe that a win will be forthcoming.  To that end, we offer our strong support.  Go, Canada, go!
