Canada Vs Samoa

Canada takes on #11 Samoa tomorrow 9:00 PST and can be viewed at; www.irb.com. Coach Crowley has made a whack of changes, probably all for the better but yet another jig-saw to try to find some answers.  The Islanders will be hot under the collar after losing to Italy last weekend and this will be real test of Canadian mettle. Carpenter has come into hooker, Cudmore takes a place at lock, "Jab"ediah Sinclair moves to #8, Pritchard resumes the custodian spot, Hassler comes on to the wing, "Deet" van Der Merwe takes the other wing spot and Trainor moves to the centers to accompany Hearn.  Again, all changes arguably, for the better however we all know just how hard it is to really perform at your best when combinations are different every time out.  There will be no shortage of effort, for sure and we wish the boys well, with a close result being no surprise to this pundit.

CW COACHES - BOOK THIS!  On Monday, Dec., 1st, Ken Goodland will be hosting a workshop for ALL CLUB COACHES, MINIS TO SENIOR MEN. This will take place at The Temple, commencing at 6:30 and finishing around 8:15 p.m. Ken recently spent a week in New Zealand with Shane Thompson, winners of a B.C.R.U. bursary. The session will be a power-point production, emphasizing coaching and learning skills aquisition and defence however Ken proposes it will then branch to other aspects of the game, talking about everything he learned.  Ken suggests coaches should come prepared with something to take notes.

TO THE CANADIAN CLASSICS - Cookie, Bus, Pucker, Knaggsie, CW ALUM, fellow team mates and Coach Woodie, best of luck tonite when you get stuck into France in the Plate semis in Bermuda!
